Listings Criteria
Who is eligible to be a PLG Certified Listing
The PLG seeks to present information, resources, services and products that promote healthier, more sustainable lifestyles, as well as educating Pinellas County residents about the environmental impacts of widespread consumer actions and choices.
Criteria
Listings must meet at least one of the following environmental sustainability criteria:
- Energy efficient / renewable energy
- Conserves / protects water and/or air
- Less toxic plant-based
- Locally / regionally produced
- Reduces waste
- Durable / Reusable
- Recycled content
- Certified by one of the following: USDA Organic, Energy Star, Fair Trade, FSC, Food Alliance, LEED, Green-e, other similar organization)
- Educational / promotes environmental values
