City of Clearwater, Florida
In a world focusing on "going green" and protecting the environment, Clearwater is planting the seeds for a greener, cleaner city. Our organization promised to protect the environment when Mayor Hibbard signed the U.S. Conference of Mayors Climate Protection Agreement. The city also partnered with the University of South Florida to identify areas of opportunity to improve our beautiful city's sustainability for future generations.

St. Petersburg is living green to ensure its sustainability for the future through award-winning conservation programs, one of the country's largest reclaimed water systems, an extensive park and pedestrian/bicycle trail network, preservation of environmentally sensitive lands, internal green practices and more.
Florida Yards and Neighborhoods
Our program is designed to assist and guide residents in implementing sustainable landscape practices that result in water conservation in the landscape and positive changes in the environmental quality of their yards, neighborhoods and surrounding waterways.

sustainable living to adults and youth.

Central to the mission is maintaining the balance between the water needs of current and future users while protecting and maintaining water and related natural resources which provide the District with its existing and future water supply.
